Ugo Bigi arrived in Austin with one goal in mind, bring traditional, simple Italian food to the United States. And the gnocchi al pomodoro is a perfect example of that. The pillowy gnocchi is married with olive oil and a bright tomato sauce before being topped with a satisfying orb of fresh mozzarella and a sprig of peppery basil.
